UK developer and publisher Rebellion have begun 2019 with announcing that they have expanded to four studios with the acquisition of TickTock Games.

TickTock Games have been great in their 12 year history, working on projects with the likes of Sony and Nintendo and have recently joined up with Rebellion to help develop the likes of Rogue Trooper Redux and the Nintendo Switch version of Battlezone Gold Edition.

They will now be under the name of Rebellion North and have already begun work on new Rebellion titles, as the company gets ready for multiple unannounced games in 2019. Rebellion CEO and co-founder Jason Kingsley OBE stated:

Bringing more great people to the company is a great way to start 2019. The company continues to grow and it’s important we bring in the right people as part of that process. We’ve worked with the team at TickTock Games for a while now, and we know they’ll continue to prosper as Rebellion North.

Rebellion only seem to be getting stronger and stronger as they look to cement themselves as one of the best publishers and developers in the UK. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
