Wolf Haus Games today announced that JOIN US, their darkly satirical survival/action cult simulator, will launch on PlayStation 5 in March, 2027, joining the previously announced PC and XBOX versions of the game.
The news was confirmed during Wednesday night’s Future Games Show, alongside a brand-new trailer introducing PlayStation fans to the darkly comedic world of JOIN US and highlighting the game’s up-to-4 player co-op features.
The game will be playable to the public for the very first time on the show floor at Gamescom via a series of “pop up” play sessions hosted by the Wolf Haus Games dev team.
The trailer released today gives a look at the co-op mode of JOIN US. While the game’s dense, hand-crafted 6km2 map and fully voice-acted narrative campaign can be enjoyed solo, players looking for even more chaos can play the campaign – or free roam the open world map – in up to 4 player co-op mode.
“We’re excited to expand our launch to include PlayStation, in addition to XBOX and PC,” said Joe Dietsch, Creative Director and CEO of Wolf Haus Games. “Doomsday cults are a fairly communal concept so it felt natural that JOIN US should reach to the widest possible audience and, of course, include an optional co-op mode. I promise we’re not trying to build a real cult. But maybe a little bit?”
On the show floor, a handful of lucky players will get to experience this highly anticipated darkly comedic survival action game for themselves, and dive into the dynamic cult management systems that power JOIN US. Players will be able to get their hands on the game at the Indies of America booth in Hall 10.2, stand F-011j, on Thursday 27th August between 15:00 – 17:00, and Friday 28th August between 15:30 – 17:30.
JOIN US was announced last year to huge acclaim, reaching almost 400k wishlists on Steam alone. In June of this year, JOIN US was featured during the XBOX Showcase during Summer Games Fest earlier this year.
Players can wishlist JOIN US today on PlayStation, Steam, Xbox and Epic Games Store and join the official Discord to follow development before its launch in March 2027. JOIN US will also be launching on XBOX Game Pass on day one.
