Police Simulator – Rush! Arrives in Fortnite

Race your friends and escape the heat in the new Police Simulator Installment

Don’t miss out on Astragon Entertainment’s newest island in Fornite Creative, Police Simulator – Rush! Created by Astragon Development, this new island expands the Police Simulator brand with a fun-filled, high-score chase.

In Police Simulator – Rush!, players race through winding city streets, busy highways, and tricky tunnels against seven competitors. Choose your ride from a selection of police and gangster-themed cars, featuring emergency lights, edgy underglow, and music blasting from adversary cars. Leading the field isn’t easy, you will need to master jumps, weave through traffic, and use your speed boosts wisely to collect coins and beat the competition. Who will come out on top of the international leaderboard?

Police Simulator – Rush! is now available in Fortnite Creative and is free to play in Fornite. Find the creator page at https://www.fortnite.com/@astragon and join the island using island code 7147-2213-2365.

You can catch up with the developers at gamescom 2025, where GametechUK  will be streaming the game live on stage. I hope you’re ready for some fast-paced, competitive fun.

#20 – Forgotten Franchises, Development Purgatory and the Prince that Persia’d
byHype From Outer Heaven

On this episode of Hype from Outer Heaven, join Kyle, Brandon, Caleb and Prince as they discuss long-dormant franchises that are in desperate need of a reboot. Franchises like Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia, Legacy of Kain, SOCOM: US Navy Seals etc. are just a few examples of once prolific franchises that have been left at the side of the road. Is it due to a lack of interest? or has the very nature of gaming changed, with investors and publishers not giving long-dead franchises the time of day based on the fact that they would be a financial gamble? If so, they usually end up in development purgatory and eventually cancelled (such is the case of Legacy of Kain: Dead Sun) or doomed to the realm of mediocrity with a chewed up and spat out mobile game that has all the depth and charisma of a jellied eel. From Prince’s love for Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia, to Kyle’s somewhat overlong fanboying for the Legacy of Kain franchise and calls for it’s return, and Caleb’s worry of the return of Duke Nukem in the current political climate, the lads engage in a debate about their forgotten franchises they would like to see return, whilst coming to terms that they’ll all be nearly forty or over by the time The Elder Scrolls VI releases.
