Phasmophobia – Player Character Update Overview

The Phasmophobia Player Character Update was recently released and there are mixed opinions on the delivery. Kinetic Games teased character customisation early on, the prior version being limited to 8 character models to select from based on their badge portait. Finally, this May, they released an update claiming “higher quality character models”, a “wide array of cosmetics”, and character interactions, including a new death animation. DreamHack 2026 – Indie Playground Highlights

This year marks the first time that DreamHack has come to the UK, and what a turnout! The massive success of the convention has them already planning for DreamHack 2027. Unfortunately, there were so many exhibitors at DreamHack that it would be impossible to recap everything. Instead, I’d like to highlight some of the smaller creators that participated – introducing the Indie Playground. The Indie Playground is an area reserved for, as the box says, independently developed video games.

Dynamic Pricing Reported in PlayStation Store

PSPrices has reported that Sony has been running A/B price tests in the PlayStation Store since November 2025. This has grown to affect 100+ games in around seventy regions. Many gamers are concerned about how this will affect their accounts, with some users speculating there will be inflated game prices based on purchase history.
