Stormblood Patch 4.2 Rise of a New Sun

Coming January 30th 2018 is the latest addition to the monster MMO Final Fantasy XIV Stormblood with many new features and some big changes. With 2 new dungeons and the next chapter in the Omega raid; Rise of a New Sun gives birth to a host of content.

New Main Scenario Quests – Ala Mhigo continues its march towards recovery thanks to the Warrior of Light’s efforts although all is not as it seems as worrying rumours come from Doma.
New Raid Dungeon – Omega: Sigmascape is here to test the Warrior of Light even further. Heavy Final Fantasy V references were notable but today we see Final Fantasy VI references on board.
New Trial – Meet one of Four Lords, Byakko in a new challenging Trial that kicks off a new series of side quests.
New Dungeons – Two new high-level Dungeons: Hells’ Lid and The Fractal Continuum (Hard).
New Beast Tribe Quests – The Vira, one of the tribes of snake-like Ananta have long supported efforts of the Resistance by sending warriors to bolster their ranks. Now they turn to the Warrior of Light for help.
Glamour Dressers – Convert clothing, weapons and tools into glamour at inns and then combine and use these into a complete ensemble for convenient customisation of player outfits.
The Feast PvP Updates – With the addition of The Crystal Tower Training Grounds comes new rulesets, a new PvP Team System which allows groups of up to six to complete in ranked matches while communicating using a special group chat function.
A New Duty Recorder Feature – Analyse your raids from multiple viewpoints and improve your tactics or relive your greatest battles with this new video playback feature.
Housing Updates – New wards and neighborhoods will be added to the four existing residential areas.
Updates to bard’s performance actions, additional inventory through the use of a new companion storage feature, new powerful gear and more.
