RAISE MAGIC TOWERS, BONK GOBLINS AND GUZZLE MEAD IN A HILARIOUS TAKE ON MEDIEVAL FANTASY NEXT MONTH

Publisher Ravenage Games and Developer Hack The Publisher have announced that comedy-driven base builder Dwarven Skykeep will launch December 1 on PC via Steam. A free Steam demo is now available. As an esteemed wizard who doubles as the leading expert in building block towers (we’ve all got to make a living somehow), players must learn to hire and manage their dwarven employees. Feed your workforce beer to keep it satisfied or risk your tower’s total demolition by goblin hordes. It’s like real life, but with a bit more magic. And we’re not just talking about the booze.

As players get accustomed to ordering around their burgeoning personnel, they must also build a card deck worthy enough to take on the challenges that await in Dwarven Skykeep’s five unique worlds. Learn about the game’s day-night cycle, spells, towers, dwarves, and more in Goblin World. Enter the Shadow World as day turns to night and find a light source to keep your dwarves hard at work.

Bundle up for the Winter World and keep your workforce warm with heat-generating artifacts. Towers become trains in Train World (who would’ve guessed it?), forcing players to burn cards in order to keep their new engines going. Finally, take to the skies in the Dwarven Skykeep and build to your best ability while floating among the clouds. Meet and enlist different kinds of creatures – like Vampire Dwarves, Polar Dwarves, and even Gnomes! – throughout your adventure and strategize wisely to keep goblin gonks at bay.

“Dwarven Skykeep represents a quirky fusion of seemingly disparate genres: base builders, deckbuilders, colony sims, strategy, management and more,” says Andrey Kiryushkin, Head of Studio at Hack The Publisher. “Beyond that, our game is funny yet respectful, which is seldom found in games these days. We can’t wait to finally launch this passion project of ours next month. Until then, give the free demo a try!”
