Little Lionel Messi get’s a second inform and is this weeks standout card in the Team Of The Week lineup.

@JohnBGameHype

Even into his thirties, Argentina’s joyous, scintillating magician continues to wow and set new records. Grabbing his 50th career as Barcelona overcame Sevilla in an entertaining tie, hattrick hero Messi is now on 25goals in La Liga for the season. His latest inform card has a rating of 97 and interestingly is in the RW position and not ST role. (Which should increase the price of the 96 IF ST card, making the value of this IF RW card fairly cheaper). The actual card itself has ratings of 91 Pace, 99 dribbling, 95 shooting, 94 passing, and 68 physicality. I can’t help but feel with such impressive stats, the card is wasted out wide as a RM/RF/RW. Such insane numbers but not in a central role hurts the card due to lowish stamina.

Getting an assist and putting in an impressive performance last weekend has done enough for Paris Saint Germain’s Italian star to be included this week. The card has a player rating of 87 and includes the following ratings 67 pace, 90 dribbling, 80 defending, 86 passing. I’ve always been unsure regarding Veratti’s ability to effect games and have a real impact when the odds are against you. This card does little to change my opinion, easily shrugged off the ball with 53 strength, weak in the air, pretty low in height, relatively slow and can’t shoot. In other words this card represents a guy who can quite easily be bossed around in a key area of the pitch.

Bayern Munich’s Javi Martinez got a game-winning goal and won the man of the match award, as he starred in Bayern’s close 1-0 win last weekend in the Bundesliga. The card looks pretty beastly for a defensive minded role in the midfield area and has a player rating of 86 and includes ratings of 53pace, 72 passing, 87 defending, 85 physicality. Throw in the 86 reactions & 92 aggression and you’re looking at a card that will be highly competitive, diving in at challenges and cutting out dangerous through balls. Proving to be a solid wall of protection in front of the backline if you set his custom tactics to stay back.
